Located in Los Algodones, Baja California, Dr. Alberto Ortega’s dental practice has been caring for patients for more than 24 years with a commitment to quality, precision, and personalized attention.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ortega has continued to expand his knowledge through advanced education and hands-on training in implant dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, ceramic restorations, and modern digital techniques.

But experience and technology are only part of our approach. We believe exceptional dental care begins with listening. Every patient has different needs, concerns, and expectations, which is why every treatment plan is carefully designed around the individual.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ortega and the entire dental team in Algodones. From the very beginning, communication and scheduling were outstanding as I am based in California. Everything was explained clearly, and I received very detailed instructions, which made the entire process easy and stress-free. I especially appreciate their very organized office, and complimentary drinks. Dr. Ortega did an exceptional job repairing my old fillings. What impressed me most was the careful attention given to each individual tooth. Because many of my fillings were quite old, Dr. Ortega took the time to thoroughly review each tooth, consider its condition and the amount of work needed, and approach the treatment carefully. My husband had a deep cleaning and replaced his metal fillings with porcelain and he was extremely pleased with the work. My family and I (husband, mother, father, grandfather, aunts & uncles) continue to return to Dr. Ortega’s office because of the excellent care we have received and the trust we have in him and his entire team. I feel confident knowing that my dental health is in good hands, and that level of trust is very important to me I highly recommend Dr. Ortega and the team to anyone looking for excellent dental care in Algodones!

We have been coming down to Los Algodones for over 20 years to have our dental work done, We used to go to a different dentist down here but we’re treated rudely and with total disrespect (scheduling issues). After a 5 hour drive. I love the way they email you and remind you of your appointment and then call you to confirm in person not have a bot sent you a bunch of texts wanting you to fill out their insurance info. The past 5 years we have been going to Dr. Ortega and Dr Silva and they are amazing, they even offer to come to the entrance and pick us up and take us back so we don’t have to walk. Super friendly staff and always make you feel like you’re the most important customer they have ever had. 2 years ago I broke a post on a crown in the middle of the week and went to a dentist in Prescott Az. They wanted over $5000 for a new implant so I took a day off work and went down to see them and they got me in right away and installed a new post and a crown for less than a third of the cost. Their technology is better than in the states but the best part is if you have an appointment at 9:00 you’re in the dental chair at 9:00 not when they get around to it. Won’t go anywhere else. If you need dental work done I highly recommend the Staff and dentists at Dr. Ortega.

The best dentists I have ever been too, awesome staff, spotless office and the latest tools. I think I actually fell asleep while he was filling a cavity for me before my new crown. We live in New York but have all our dental work done with Dr. Ortega and Dr Silva.

I am Deb Glover and I have been seeing Dr Ortega/Dr Rosita for my extractions and upper denture. They are extremely kind and attentive. Virginia the receptionist is also wonderful. I have had nothing but positive experiences with everyone there. I love my new teeth and can eat anything I want. Muchos Gracias!!!

Came with a friend and did not know what to expect. Felt very comfortable with everyone and the space was bright, clean and relaxed. The care was very clearly explained and provided with options on the extensiveness of work. I will be coming back!

Dr. Ortega & his staff are great! I dislike coming to the dentist more than anything & they are great here, knowledgeable, helpful & comforting! I have something wrong with every tooth except one & not judgement, while working toward the solution!
